Honoring the Women Who Keep Us Moving

A Birthday Reflection and a Mother's Day Reality Check

It’s May 6. My birthday is on Thursday. Mother’s Day lands on Sunday.

As a kid, I used to hate that. I felt like my big day got hijacked by roses, brunch, and “Thanks, Mom” cards. But now? I get it. Actually, I love it.

Because having my birthday so close to Mother’s Day means I never forget to pause and honor the women who built me—and who keep building the world around me.

So today’s post isn’t about me. It’s about the real MVPs: the moms. The entrepreneurs. The multitasking magicians. The heartbeats of our families and our companies.

Let’s give credit where credit’s long overdue.

Moms = Full-Time Hustle + Full-Time Heart

Look—being a mom is already a full-time job with zero off-days.
Add business owner, affiliate leader, or team builder on top of that? That’s not multitasking. That’s a full-blown superpower.

To every mom out there balancing bedtime routines with backend systems, Zoom calls with school drop-offs—you have my deepest respect.

You’re not just raising families. You’re raising standards.

And respectfully? I couldn’t do what you do. Not even close.

You’re the foundation. The fuel. The quiet force keeping things moving when no one else even realizes the wheels might fall off.

So this one’s for you.

The Women Who Shaped Me

Behind every driven man is a tribe of powerful women. Here’s mine.

To my mom—thank you. You taught me that hard work isn’t optional, loyalty matters, and late-night pep talks fix more than coffee ever could.

To my wife—watching you raise our daughter with love, discipline, and insane amounts of patience has changed me. You model strength I didn’t even know existed.

To every female leader, affiliate, or client I’ve worked with—you’ve sharpened my perspective, held me accountable, and shown me how real leadership looks.

And here’s the truth: some of the smartest, savviest, and most loyal reps I’ve ever met are moms. You build with heart. You close with grace. And you stay.

Intuition Isn’t Vibes—It’s a Weapon

Let’s talk about one of the biggest competitive advantages I know: women’s intuition.

It’s not just a “feeling.” It’s an instinct. A sixth sense. A radar that sees the thing behind the thing.

When I walk out of a meeting, I often ask my wife or a trusted female rep: “How’d that feel to you?”
Because they’ll pick up on the energy, the tone, the unsaid stuff—things I miss when I’m buried in the pitch or the numbers.

This intuition is a force in business. It builds loyalty, deepens trust, and spots BS from a mile away.

If you’re not listening to the women on your team, you’re missing the signal.

Heads Up, Fellas

This Sunday is Mother’s Day. That means you’ve got a few days to do more than just Amazon Prime some flowers.

Say something real. Do something meaningful. Write the note. Handle the errands. Show her you see her.

Whether she’s your mom, your partner, your sister, or your teammate—honor her the way she deserves.

Because without the love, leadership, and relentless drive of women?
Boom Marketing Group wouldn’t exist.
FreeForYou wouldn’t exist.
And let’s be real—you probably wouldn’t either.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms building empires at home and in business.

With deep respect,
Greg
